Infosys Q4 Results beats expectations

Infosys on Tuesday declared their fourth quarter results and reported reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 2,992 crore on sales of Rs. 12,875 crore between January and March 2014. The second IT giant of the country reported Revenue of 23.2 percent to Rs 12,875 crore.

Out of the Revenues, North America accounted for 59.8 percent, Europe stood second at 25.2 percent, India at 2.6 percent while the Rest of the World occupied 12.4 percent.

In US dollar terms, Infosys profit grew 9.7 percent to USD 487 million in January-March quarter of 2013-14 fiscal, while revenue rose by 7.9 percent to USD 2.09 billion.

After declaring the results, Infosys has announced hikes for its employees. Offshore employees would get 6 to 7 percent hike while the onsite employees would get 1-2 hike.
