General Motors India pushes the prices

Automobile manufacturer General Motors India has announced that it will hike prices of its products and this push up will come effective from January 2014. P Balendran, Vice-President, General Motors India confirmed this update of hike and the price range would be Rupees 10,000 depending upon the variants.

Earlier this December manufacturers such as Renault, Hyundai have already declared price hikes of their products citing input costs and rupee depreciation. General Motors too claimed the same reason for the increase. Meanwhile Tata Motors which raised its products prices by 1 percent is currently reviewing its decision and depending upon the market situation, they would like to go ahead with hike.

Anyways 2014 will definitely burn the pockets of car lovers.
