Rabbani paves ways for positive business relations

The Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar means business. It is evident from the fact that the country is ready to shed the hostile baggage, as the younger generations had not a faint glimpse of what transpired between the two countries earlier. Being neighbors, Pak public preferred to have a smooth bondage between the two countries. Going with the trends it looks like there will be positive surge in business relations between the two nations. The positive approach had been witnessed in a media interview of Ms Rabbani given to a prominent channel. On Saturday the two foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan met in Islamabad to review the second round of resumed dialogue. The Indian External Affairs Minister S M Krishna will hold talks, with his Pak counterpart, on various issues but terrorism is to be on top of the agenda. The talks will culminate in inking of much-awaited new liberalized visa agreement to boost people-to-people contacts.

In the mean time the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will allow domestic entities to invest in Pakistan if they apply for approval. This was officially declared by the monitoring bank on Friday. Everything seems to be moving abreast in this direction, between the two nations. As per the statement Pak public and business entities  are now allowed to invest in all sectors apart from defence, space and atomic energy.

This could pave way for a brighter horizon of improved and mutually beneficial relationship between the two neighbors. This inturn could stimulate the business investments too. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
