Five year Boy Secretly Calls Police To Inform Father’s Traffic ViolationJune 02, 2016 15:54
A five-year boy informed the police when he saw his father is driving through a red light, according to a recording posted online by police in the Massachusetts city of Quincy. The pint-sized crimefighter can be heard telling a dispatcher about his father’s traffic offense.
Although the police department said the boy was six years old, the father says in the call he is five years old.
“Um, daddy went past a red light. He has a black truck. He was in a brand-new car, my mummy's car,” the boy says in the recording.
The boy named as Robert says his father committed the violation on the way to the car wash, when the dispatcher asked him what happened next.
The boy adds, “Then he went pass the red light.”
The dispatcher asks to speak to his father, who then picks up the phone.
“Oh no. I apologize,” the father says with an embarrassed tone when the dispatcher concluded with “No problem.”
Quincy police has not charged any sections on them for the traffic violation and not ticket was issued considering the family loyalty.
