FIFA has banned Nigeria from all international football with interference of government in its football federation. FIFA took this decision in response to a court order which forced the Nigerian Minister of Sports to appoint a civil servent to take over the running of Nigeria Football Federation. With this suspension, the women's team will not take part in teh FIFA under-20 Women's World Cup in Canada next month.
