Since SAKSHI claimed that more than 20,000 employees will be on roads with freeze of its accounts, court has asked CBI to respond with details. CBI thought this will be simple exercise taking list of employees from SAKSHI but seems to have found many different numbers coming from different sources which surprised them. CBI seems to be investigating to get exact no of REAL SAKSHI EMPLOYEES. There are many numbers coming out hence CBI is trying to consolidate REAL EMPLOYEES and their details.

As per information, the following are the details of SAKSHI EMPLOYEES as per multiple sources:

Claimed employees in Court                                 : 4457

As per Ministry of Labor & Employment                 : 2300

SAKSHI Employees in PF OFFICE                             : 14000

SAKSHI TV employees in PF Office                          : 5000

No of Employees SAKSHI claims would lose employment: 20000

No of Bank Accounts SAKSHI has   : 19

No of PF Accounts SAKHSI has       : 13 Accounts

CBI is trying to consolidate and get exact no of REAL SAKSHI EMPLOYEES from PF office and PF Offices are preparing detailed list of SAKSHI EMPLOYEES to give to CBI.

In earlier cases, SATYAM was found diverting Rs.20Crores using 13,000 fake employees where as SATYAM claimed close to 53,000 employees the actual employees were only 40,000. The purported 13,000 fictitious employees on Satyam Computers Services’ pay-rolls were created to simply siphon off company funds.

“A company can overstate the number of employees to show more expenses in their accounts. They can increase employee strength, disburse salaries to those accounts and later siphon off those funds. It is theoretically possible.” said managing director at audit firm during Satyam investigation.

Is SAKSHI also following same modus of operandi to divert funds out of corporate using FAKE EMPLOYEES is a big question and angle CBI may investigate. The big question is the actual no of employees are 4457 or 2300 or 14000 or 5000 or 19000 or as claimed 20000?
