Centre about the Debts of AP and Telangana:- The Centre has announced about the increasing debts of the Telugu states in the Lok Sabha house. The MPs of the nation are informed about the debts. The Central government released a state-wise debt list of the country and the debts for Andhra Pradesh have been increasing badly every year. As per the calculations of the budget, the debts of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2018 were Rs 2.29 lakhs crores. The debt has now reached Rs 3.98 lakh crores as per the Union Finance Department. The debts of AP have increased by 17.1 percent in the financial year of 2021-22. The GDP percentage debt of Andhra Pradesh has increased from the past three years.

The debt percentage GDP for AP in 2014 was 42.3 percent as per the reports from the Union Finance Department. The debt percentage decreased after 2014. It was 23.3 percent in 2015 and it increased to 36.5 percent by 2021. In Telangana too, the debt burden has seen a huge rise. The debts were Rs 1.60 lakh crore in 2018 and they are expected to reach Rs 3.12 lakh crores by 2022. A percentage of 95.9 debts were recorded in 2017-18. The Centre also told that the percentage of GDP debts in Telangana have been increasing from the past three years. As per 2022, the GDP percent debt in Telangana by 2022 is said to be 27.4 percent.
