KTR Inaugurates Kaithalapur Flyover:- Telangana government has been completely focused on road connectivity and they have done an excellent job. After the coronavirus pandemic attacked, the government constructed several connecting roads and made things easier. A series of flyovers are constructed in no time in Hyderabad. Telangana IT Minister KTR inaugurated the Kaithalapur road over bridge in the city today. It has been constructed by the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) owned by the government of Telangana at a cost of Rs 86 crores. The flyover was constructed near Borabanda MMTS station. The officials of GHMC told that the traffic congestion from Hitech City to Kukatpally will get reduced from JNTU Road.

There would be enough reduction in the traffic at JNTU junction, Hitech City flyover, Malaysian Township junction and others. The travel distance from Balanagar, Sanathnagar and Secunderabad is expected to be reduced by 3.5 km as the traffic will be divered to Kaithalapur through Moosapet. The Kaithalapur road over bridge is 675.50 metres long and is 16.6 metres wide. It is a four-lane two directional bridge that also has service roads that are 5.5 metres wide. The officials of GHMC told that out of the 41 works, 29 are completed and seven others are nearing completion. The construction work is happening in Uttam Nagar, Lalapet, Tukaram Gate, Uppuguda level crossing, HITEC City and Anandbagh areas.
