Narendra Modi should apologize to Telangana people says KTR

Narendra Modi should apologize to Telangana people says KTR:- Telangana IT Minister and TRS Working President KTR said that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has insulted the people of Telangana with his comments in Parliament about the formation of Telangana. KTR asked the party people to organize protests with black flags and burn the effigies of BJP. "Utterly disgraceful of you Prime Minister repeatedly insulting the decades of spirited struggle and sacrifices of the people of Telangana," tweeted KTR, who is a key state minister and also the son of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. "I strongly condemn the absurd comments of the PM and demand that he apologise to the people of Telangana," posted KTR.

While speaking in Rajya Sabha, Narendra Modi slammed Congress about the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh that took place in 2014. "Congress played an important role in the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The people elected them to sit in the house but the mics are turned off and pepper sprays were used" told Modi. Both TRS and Congress responded on a strong note as they felt that it was an insult to Telangana and KTR sought an apology from Narendra Modi for the people of Telangana.

"We mark our protest against the insensitive remarks of PM Modi ji made in Parliament. Telangana is a reality because of the fight put up by the people of the state. It was the sheer grit and certitude of people that made all political parties support us in creating Telangana" posted TRS MLC Kavitha.
