Telangana Health Department's strict orders to Government Hospitals

The Omicron variant spread has increased rapidly in the last one week and it is now present in all the states. More than 4000 cases of Omicron variant are reported in the country till date. The Indian government asked the states to impose their own restrictions as per the rise in the cases. The Telangana Health Department made it clear that there would be no lockdown in the state and the Department asked the people to be extra cautious and use facemasks when they are in public. The people are asked to follow the social distancing guidelines strictly without fail.

The Health Department of Telangana issued strict orders for all the government hospitals after there is a rise in the new cases of coronavirus. The Health Department asked the government hospitals to admit only emergency cases and not normal cases in the coming days. The authorities also asked the hospitals to keep a track on the available beds on a regular basis and update the information to them. The private hospitals too made special arrangements considering the rise in the cases and increased the beds for coronavirus patients. Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been interacting with the Health officials to review the situation of coronavirus in the state.
