TRS Continues To Protest Against The Centre On The Paddy Issue:- The ruling TRS government of Telangana has been demanding the Centre to procure the paddy of the upcoming Rabi season. TRS leaders staged protests against BJP and they have been mounting pressure on the Centre. They are demanding the Centre to procure the entire paddy from the state in Kharif and rabi seasons. All the MLAs, MPs, MLCs along with the other supporters of TRS participated in the protests in the villages, towns and cities across the state. Special rallies are held all over Telangana and the government warned of intensifying the protests.

The protests got accompanied by drum beats in all the districts. The effigies of the Centre and BJP were burnt. Slogans were raised calling 'anti-farmer' government and politicians. TRS crucial leaders KTR and Kavitha skipped the program due to their packed schedules. KCR called the leaders to stay active in the protests. The government of Telangana announced a high-level delegation of leaders and ministers along with MPs to the national capital to meet the Centre. They will demand a written assurance from the Centre about the paddy procurement in the state in the upcoming season.
