India Reports 8439 New Coronavirus Cases:- The new cases of coronavirus saw a steady decline in the country and 8439 new cases are reported on Tuesday in India. The total tally of cases reported for coronavirus in India reached 3,46,56,822 and the active cases declined to 93,733. This is the lowest as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. With 195 new deaths, the death toll climbed to 4,73,952. There are several cases of Omicron variant reported in the country for now but the Health Ministry told that the situation is under control. All the foreign travelers arriving in India are thoroughly screened. The government of Karnataka capped the coronavirus RT-PCR test prices at the airports of the state.

All the passengers who arrived from UK to Goa are tested negative for coronavirus. Four international travelers who reached Delhi airport are sent to hospital after they had symptoms of the new variant. A total number of 30 international travelers are admitted to the hospital. The total vaccine doses administered in the country are said to be 129.5 crores. The government of Telangana announced Rs 50,000 ex-gratia for the kin of the coronavirus victims in the state. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the variant of Omicron is more transmissible than the Delta variant. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested for coronavirus on December 7th are said to be 12,13,130 and the samples tested in total are 65,06,60,144.
