Delhi Government All Set To Impose Lockdown To Control Air Pollution:- The air quality levels in the national capital New Delhi dipped to all time high levels. The Supreme Court suggested the government of New Delhi to consider lockdown option and all the schools in NCR region are shut. The government of New Delhi told the Supreme Court that they are ready to take the steps of complete lockdown till the air pollution gets controlled in the state. All the meaningful steps will be implemented told the AAP Government. The Supreme Court also asked the state government to take decisions on the industries, vehicles and power plants so that the air pollution can be controlled.

The Centre in a reply told to the Supreme Court that stable burning is not the major cause of the air pollution in the state and it contributes 10 percent of the dirty air. The government of Delhi is also in plans to impose the rule of work for home for the employees across the national capital region. They are in talks with the corporate and other firms to impose the rule. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi will meet the press and will announce the new rules soon.
