Etala Rajendar Wins Huzurabad Bypoll by a huge margin:- TRS wanted to grab the Huzurabad Assembly seat after Etala Rajendar submitted his resignation for the party and called it a quit. The bypoll took place on October 30th and TRS campaigned massively in the constituency. All the political parties took things prestigiously and Etaja Rajendar contested from BJP. The counting of the bypoll is coming to an end after it started at 8 AM. By the end of 21st round, BJP got 1,01,732 votes and TRS stood second with 78,997 votes. BJP bagged a majority of 22,735 votes. It is clear that the people of the constituency supported Etala Rajendar and did not consider TRS.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR even initiated Dalit Bandhu from Huzurabad constituency and this too did not work out for the party. The Election Commission asked the state government to put the welfare scheme on hold till the counting of Huzurabad concludes. BJP leaders celebrated the victory from morning as BJP had a clear lead right from the first round. The leaders of BJP slammed TRS calling it as the victory of the people. TRS Leader and Minister Harish Rao said that the party would respect the decision of the people. He said that Congress and BJP worked together against TRS which never happened in the country in the past.
