32,937 Fresh Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- A total number of 32,937 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in the country. There are 3,81,947 active cases of coronavirus in the country now and 417 new deaths are reported in India in the last 24 hours. A total number of 35,909 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country. The active cases constitute to 1.18 percent of the total caseload in the country. A total number of 3,14,11,924 people recovered completely from coronavirus and the national recovery rate is at 97.48 percent which is the highest since March 2020. The total number of vaccine doses administered in India are said to be 54,58,57,108.
A total number of 17,43,114 vaccine doses are administered in the last 24 hours. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya reached Kerala to assess the condition. He will meet Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and State Health Minister Veena George and will discuss about the situation of coronavirus in the state. He will also visit Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala alone reported 18,582 new cases of coronavirus in the state in the last 24 hours. The total infections reported in Kerala reached 36.69 lakhs. 102 new deaths are reported and the total death tally climbed to 18,601. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested for coronavirus in India on August 15th is 11,81,212 and the total samples tested till date are 49,48,05,652.
