Two New Dalit Ministers Into KCR's Cabinet?:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) announced Dalit Bandhu that will benefit 13 lakh Dalit families in the state and the burden on the government is expected to be over Rs 10,000 crores. The scheme commenced recently and a set of Dalit families are zeroed in to receive Rs 10 lakhs as a fund directly into their bank accounts. Though the opposition parties slammed KCR calling it a trick before the Huzurabad bypolls that are scheduled to take place this year, KCR says that the decision has been taken considering the financial position of dalits in the state. KCR is also in plans to expand his cabinet from some time but it got delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Going with the latest update, KCR is keen to expand his cabinet after the date of Huzurabad bypoll will be out. KCR is also in plans to give place for two dalits in his cabinet. One among them would be the role of the Deputy Chief Minister as per the close sources of TRS. The state cabinet for Telangana is full and KCR is in plans to open doors for two ministers so that two Dalit MLAs can be inducted into the state cabinet. KCR made several comments in the past about making a Dalit the Chief Minister of the state. When the opposition parties staged attack on KCR, he wanted to play safe by offering the Deputy Chief Minister's position to a Dalit. The discussions about the names are currently going on. KCR will take the final call on this very soon.
