3.6 lakh new coronavirus cases reported in India:- A total number of  3,60,960 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours along with 3293 new deaths. The total number of people who got discharged from the country reached 2,61,162 in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 1,79,97,267 and the total number of recoveries in the country reached 1,48,17,371. The death toll in India stands at 2,01,187. The number of active cases for coronavirus climbed up to 29,78,709. The total number of Indians who took up the vaccine for coronavirus in India are said to be 14,78,27,367.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa appeals to the people of the state to follow the lockdown and coronavirus protocols strictly. The Republic of Singapore Air Force has sent two aircraft of oxygen cylinders to West Bengal  and they would reach this evening. The registration for vaccination for coronavirus for people aged between 18 and 45 will start today at 4 PM. The mass vaccination starts from May 1st. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total number of samples tested for coronavirus in India till date are 28,27,03,789 and the samples tested yesterday are 17,23,912.
