997 new cases of coronavirus reported in Andhra Pradesh:- Andhra Pradesh was once the second most impacted state in the country due to the coronavirus. After a steep decline in the number of coronavirus cases, the sudden rise in the new cases is now alarming. The daily tally reached less than 100 in the recent months but there is a sudden rise. The total number of new cases reported in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours are 997. Out of the 31,325 tests done in the state, 997 people are tested positive in the state. The total number of coronavirus cases reported in the state are said to be 8,96,917.

A total number of 8,83,603 people recovered from coronavirus in the state. 7210 people passed away in total and 6104 are the active cases for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Five new deaths are reported in the state in the last 24 hours. The cases are high in Chittoor, Guntur, Krishna and Visakhapatnam districts. The total number of samples tested in the state in total are said to be 1,50,21,364. A total number of 68,020 new coronavirus cases are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total tally to 1,20,39,644 as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. The total recoveries in the country are said to be 1,13,55,993 and Maharashtra reported 40,414 new cases in the state.
