Pay Less for your Flight if you have No Check-in Luggage:- Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) now allowed the domestic carriers of the country to offer concession in the ticket prices for the passengers traveling without check-in luggage and all those who carry only cabin luggage. DGCA made sure that the flying in the country without any check-in baggage would be cheaper. The passengers can carry a cabin luggage up to 7 kgs for free of charge. The passenger has to state that he or she will be traveling without any check-in luggage during the time of the ticket booking. The ticket fare would be lowered by Rs 200 from the lowest level check-in baggage which is inclusive of the fares.

All the flyers that will take up the airport with check-in baggage would be charged Rs 200 up to 15 kg of luggage. Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that the restriction is removed and the flight carriers will now offer ticket prices for fewer charges for all the passengers without check-in luggage. The changes will be implemented when the fare bands for the domestic flights are done. DGCA Chief Arun Kumar said that the light fares for check-in baggage is a reasonable deal. The Aviation Ministry announced fare bands after the domestic flight services resumed in May 2020. The order added that the new rule of the light fares and check-in baggage will be implemented after the fare bands are done.
