Mamata Banerjee rides an Electric Scooter to protest against Fuel Prices:- The fuel prices across the country inched Rs 100 mark per litre and the people along with the opposition parties are protesting against the government. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been spotted riding pillion on an electric scooteer in the capital Kolkata to protest agains the rising fuel prices in India. The prices of petrol and diesel in some of the states crossed Rs 100 mark. The government of West Bengal has offered a VAT cut of Rs 1 on the fuel prices. The state's Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took an alternative mode to protest. Mamata Banerjee reached Nabanna on an electric scooter and blamed Narendra Modi and his government for mounting pressure on the people in this coronavirus crisis.

Mamata Banerjee reached the state's Secretariat on an electric bike and she said that the prices went high in the recent days with the regular hike of prices of petrol and diesel. The electric bike was driven by Firhad Hakim, the Mayor of Kolkata. The government of West Bengal is keen to protest against the hike of the prices of petrol, diesel along with natural gas. Mamata Banerjee was seen in regular plain clothes and cops escorted her vehicle. The vehicles on a flyover were stopped when Mamata Banerjee was traveling on an electric bike.
