UK's New Strain of Coronavirus Detected in 41 Countries:- When the whole world is shattered with the ongoing coronavirus, a new strain for the virus is found in the United Kingdom. This virus is said to be 70 percent more fast spreading. The UK has closed doors and the Prime Minister announced a strict lockdown in the country till the mid of February. The latest report says that the UK variant of coronavirus is detected in 41 countries of the world as per the data from the World Health Organization (WHO).

“As of 5 January 2021, the VOC-202012/01 variant initially detected in the United Kingdom has been detected in a small number of cases in 40 other countries/territories/areas in five of the six WHO regions, and the 501Y.V2 variant initially detected in South African in six other countries/territories/areas,” told WHO in a statement. It was on December 14th, the United Kingdom announced about the new strain of coronavirus that is detected in the country that is 70 percent more transmissible. After this, most of the countries suspended flights and other modes of travel to and from the United Kingdom.

The Indian government announced new rules for all the returnees from the United Kingdom. The flight services from the UK will resume from January 8th after they are suspended from the past two weeks.
