Tamil Nadu Grants 100 percent Occupancy for Theatres:- The coronavirus pandemic changed the situation of the country. Lakhs of people lost their jobs and several top firms are left in a huge financial crisis. After lockdown and restrictions imposed, the Centre lifted them in stages. The film industry is the first one to get to shut and is the last one to resume the operations. Only 50 percent of the audience are allowed to watch the films in theatres and the film industry has been mounting pressure to grant 100 percent occupancy for theatres to bounce back. The Centre recently issued a statement that all the current restrictions would continue in the country till January 31, 2021.

In a sudden move, the government of Tamil Nadu today issued a statement allowing 100 percent occupancy for theatres and multiplexes across Tamil Nadu from January 11th. This is a huge boost for Vijay's upcoming movie Master which is announced for January 13th release in Telugu and Tamil languages. A special Government Order was issued today. Vijay recently met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and urged to save the film industry by supporting them and granting 100 percent occupancy. The sudden move turned out to be a surprise for other state governments.

Vijay's Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and Malavika Mohana is the leading lady. The film is carrying terrific expectations.
