Coronavirus India Recovery Rate Crosses 96 Percent:- A total number of 21,822 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total tally to 1,02,66,000 cases. 299 new deaths are reported in the country yesterday and 26,000 people recovered in the last 24 hours. There are 2.57 lakh active infections in India. Kerala reported 6268 new cases and Maharashtra reported 3537 new cases yesterday. The Centre asked all the states to be extra cautious as the spread may increase because of the New Year celebrations. Most of the states banned the New Year celebrations and announced night curfews.

All the flights from the United Kingdom to India will continue to remain suspended till January 7th. A total number of 98.34 lakh people have recovered completely from coronavirus as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The recovery rate in the country now crossed 96 percent which is a positive sign and the active cases comprise of 2.51 percent of the total cases. A new number of 415 new coronavirus cases are reported in Telangana and the total cases stand at 2,86,354. The death tally is at 1541. A total number of 25 returnees from the United Kingdom are tested positive for the new strain of coronavirus in India and they are kept in special isolation wards. Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for AIIMS in Rajkot and he said that 2021 is coming with the hope of treatment.
