ISRO's PSLV-C50 Successfully Injects Communication Satellite Into Orbit

ISRO's PSLV-C50 Successfully Injects Communication Satellite Into Orbit:- Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) adds one more feather to its cap after its workhorse rocket PSLV-C50 got successfully injected into the orbit of India's latest communication satellite CMS-01 today. ISRO reported that the injection went successful. The satellite is providing services in Extended C-Band of the frequency spectrum that is covering India along with Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar islands. ISRO revealed that the life span of the satellite is said to be seven years.

ISRO launched CMS-O1, the vehicle Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C50). The satellite took off at 3:41 PM from the second launch pad at the Sriharikota space station. ISRO tweeted, "PSLV C50 lifts off successfully from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. CMS01 successfully separated from the fourth stage of PSLV-C50. PSLV-C50 successfully injected CMS01 communication satellite precisely in predefined orbit. The satellite is functioning very well and will be placed in a specified slot in another four days. Teams worked very well and safely under COVID-19 pandemic situation".
