Coronavirus Indian Tally At 98.84 Lakhs:- The wave of coronavirus is slowly witnessing a decline after it reached an all-time high. India is the second most impacted country in the world due to coronavirus after USA. The total tally of cases in the country now stands at 98.84 lakhs and the total number of recovered cases in India are at 93.88 lakhs. The active caseload remained below 4 lakhs for the eighth consecutive day. The total death tally in the country is at 1,43,335 with 336 new deaths reported in India. Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine in USA and the UK are set for mass distribution on a priority basis. The health workers and older people will be given on a priority basis.

IIT Madras has shut down all its departments and laboratories after 66 students from the campus are tested positive for coronavirus. Telangana reported 384 new cases of coronavirus along with three deaths in the last 24 hours. The total tally of cases now stands at 2.78 lakhs and there are 7380 actives cases of coronavirus in the state. The national recovery rate for coronavirus is at 94.98 percent and the fatality rate stands at 1.45 percent. The total samples of coronavirus tested till date in the country are said to be 15,45,66,990 and the total samples tested in India yesterday are said to be 8,55,157 as per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
