Telangana Farmers To Get Rs 7300 Cr Investment:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been giving utmost importance to farming and for the field of agriculture. The farmers across the state will get Rs 7300 crore financial assistance under the announced Rythu Bandhu scheme and this amount would be offered from December 27th to January 7th. KCR directed the officials to ensure that each and every farmer in the state will get the assistance. Rs 5000 per acre will be credited directly into the bank accounts of the farmers of Telangana during this period. KCR conducted a review meeting with the Finance Department officials after which the decision was taken.

KCR directed the officials to release the amount of Rs 7300 crores. All the farmers who have less holding of lands will be paid the amount. The is the second installment for farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme and the first installment was credited in June and 50.84 lakh farmers got benefited in the state under the scheme. Rs 14,000 crores have been allocated under the program for 2020-21 through Rythu Bandhu. Rs 10,000 is the promised amount per acre under the scheme. Rythu Bandhu scheme was launched in 2018 to support the farmers for two crops every year. The amount was increased from Rs 8000 to Rs 10,000. The Telangana government initiated the program to provide financial support for the farmers.
