KTR Responds on Dubbaka Bypoll Defeat:- Telangana witnessed one of the toughest battles today in the by-election of the Dubbaka Assembly constituency that took place on November 3rd. There has been a tough fight between TRS and BJP and the voting created a tensed atmosphere and high tension among both the supporters. BJP candidate M Raghunandan Rao ended up as the winner in the Dubbaka bypolls with a slight margin of 1470 votes. TRS candidate S Sujatha stood second in the race. BJP leaders and supporters celebrated the victory. Speaking to the press after the results are out, Telangana Minister KTR said that they are not much worried with the defeat.
"We are not over excited when we tasted victories and we are not worried when we get to taste the defeats. We have won in all the previous elections in the state. I thank all the 62000 plus voters who trusted and voted for TRS in the Dubbaka bypolls. I thank minister Harish Rao and all the legislators, party supporters for their hardwork and efforts kept for the Dubbaka bypolls. We did not expect this result in the Dubbaka bypolls and the party would work hard to live up the expectations of the people in the upcoming polls. We will conduct a detailed analysis about the defeat in the polls and we would focus more on the development activities for the people" said KTR during his speech.
