AP and Telangana Interstate Bus Services to resume soon

AP and Telangana Interstate Bus Services to resume soon:- The coronavirus pandemic brought things to a halt. The bus services between the Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are canceled for the past seven months. Even after the country returning back to the normal, the interstate services haven't resumed as the talks between APSRTC and TSRTC officials went unsuccessful. The talks turned successful and the interstate services are expected to resume very soon. The MDs of APSRTC and TSRTC will sign the documents this afternoon and the services are expected to resume this evening. APSRTC had 1009 services to Telangana on regular basis before the lockdown.

The services are expected to come down to 638 now. APSRTC agreed to sacrifice 371 services to Telangana. TSRTC had 750 services to Andhra Pradesh before the lockdown and the number will go up to 820 from today. APSRTC agreed to the demands of TSRTC. A Gazit notification will be issued by both the state governments soon. The interstate bus services have been stalled from March 23rd after the coronavirus lockdown. Telangana Chief Minister KCR wanted the interstate services to be resumed after a clarity on the number of kms will be attained. TSRTC is expected to run 350 kms more than APSRTC. Both the organizations will run the services as per the requirement and demand in the coming future informed the officials.
