Telangana Government Credits Rs 2155 Cr For Palle Pragathi Scheme:- The state government of Telangana credited Rs 308 crores under the scheme of Palle Praghathi program into the accounts of the Zilla Praja Parishads, Mandal Praja Parishads and Village Gram Panchayats. A total amount of Rs 2155.5 crores has to be released since April 2020 and Rs 4582.5 crores has to be released since September 2019. The gram panchayats received Rs 277.22 crores from the Rs 308 crores and the Mandala Praja Parishads received Rs 20.52 crores and the Zilla Praja Parishads received Rs 10.26 crores.

Errabelli Dayakar Rao, the Minister of Panchayat Raj said that the Palle Pragathi program turned out to be a boon for taking up the development activities in the rural regions of Telangana. All the pending works in gram panchayats including the dumping yards, CC roads, crematoriums and development of parks are done with these funds. Rs 5 lakhs fund was sanctioned under the program for the gram panchayats with a population of over 100 people and with 30 houses in a village. A total amount of Rs 2155 crores has been released under the scheme since April this year by the government of Telangana.
