CBI Raids On Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju:- YSRCP Rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju has been in news for his sensational comments against the government of Andhra Pradesh and his fellow leaders of YSRCP. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted surprise raids on the properties of Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju regarding the Rs 826 crore bank fraud case led by Punjab National Bank. The searches are currently conducted across 11 locations in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The officials from Delhi and Hyderabad landed in the respective places to conduct the raids.

A fresh FIR has been registered by the officials of CBI regarding the Rs 826 crores fraud case under cheating and criminal misappropriation against the ten accused who are involved in the Ind-Bharath Thermal Power Limited. The consortium of banks includes Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Axis Bank and Indian Overseas Bank. Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju's wife Rama Devi Kotagiri Indira Priyadarshini, V Satyanarayana Rao, B Sowjanya, V Perraju, Gopalan Manoharan, K Seetarama, B Prasad, N Kumara Swamy and others are named in this case. The searches are going on in the residence of Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju along with the premises and offices of the YSRCP MP. The company obtained a loan for the power plant in Karnataka and shifted it to Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

There are allegations that Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju diverted the funds and the banks were looted. CBI conducted raids on Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju in April 2019.
