YS Jagan's Father-in-law EC Gangi Reddy Passed Away:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy's father-in-law Dr EC Gangi Reddy breathed his last this morning in Hyderabad. He was recently admitted in a Hyderabad based hospital due to illness. EC Gangi Reddy is the father of YS Jagan's wife Bharathi. He is named as a poor man's doctor in the Pulivendula region and also a close aide, follower of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. He has been associated with the family from years.

EC Gangi Reddy worked as Mandal Praja Parishad President during 2001 and 2005. He participated in various social activities and helped the poor. YS Jagan recently visited EC Gangi Reddy in Hyderabad. He arrived in a special flight to Hyderabad this morning from Tirupathi. The last rites of EC Gangi Reddy will be held today. EC Gangi Reddy is being treated in Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad. His mortal remains are shifted to his native place Gollalaguduru village in Vemula mandal, Kadapa district.

EC Gangi Reddy also took padayatra from Pulivendual to Kadapa Collectorate demanding the distribution of the seeds in Rabi season in 2003.
