Coronavirus Tally Of India Above 43 Lakhs Now:- India completed 170 days of lockdown and relaxations are implemented on a step basis. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the country stands at 43,70,128 and the death toll stands at 73,890. A total number of 89,706 new cases of coronavirus are registered in the country in the past 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The recovery rate is increasing at a rapid pace and it is now at 77.8 percent. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are the states with a record number of cases in the country.

A total number of 2.74 crore cases are registered across the globe by today and 8.94 lakh people died because of coronavirus till date. The fatality rate in the country dropped to 1.69 percent and there are 8,97,394 active cases of coronavirus. Around 33,98,844 people recovered from coronavirus. AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine study paused after one illness case registered. The global average of fatality rate is 3.28 percent and the aim is to achieve a CFR which is less than 1 percent. Around 17 Indian states and union territories are reporting mortality numbers of less than 1 percent.
