20 Lakh New Cases Of Coronavirus Registered In August In India:- The spread of coronavirus is unstoppable in the country and it reached all the corners of the country. After it started in the cities, the coronavirus pandemic is huge across the villages and rural regions than in cities. India witnessed 20 lakh new cases of coronavirus in the country in the month of August and this is the highest tally recorded in any country of the globe. The total deaths registered in August are said to be 28,859 and this is 50% higher than the tally of the previous month's deaths. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, a total number of 19,87,705 cases are registered in India in August. The total new cases reported in USA are said to be 19,04,462.

USA reported 31,000 deaths in August while Brazil recorded 29,565 deaths. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 36.8 lakhs. Around 28.3 lakh people recovered from the coronavirus while 7.9 lakh people are getting treated for coronavirus. The total deaths in India are said to be 65,373 which is the highest in the world. USA is on the top of the list with 1.87 lakh deaths and Brazil stands second with 1.2 lakh deaths. 65,968 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India yesterday and 824 people passed away in the country in a single day. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are the states with huge number of cases. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Odisha contribute to 70% of the total cases of coronavirus in the country.

Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka have reported 43% of the total cases in the country as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry.
