Vizag Gas Leak Victims Continue To Suffer From Ailments:- Tragedy struck hard after styrene gas from LG Polymers leaked in RR Venkataparum, Vizag. The incident took place on the morning of May 7th. Right after the incident, 11 people lost their lives. Three weeks after the incident, 46-year-old carpenter passed away. Several people are still struggling with different symptoms even now. Some of them are suffering with nausea, some with breathlessness and some others with a stomach ache. It is heard that the carpenter passed away as he did not receive proper medical care. A person said that many of them are suffering with fast heart rate and headaches.

The ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) are providing medicines but they are just temporary medicines but the problems continued for many of the people who fell prey for the leak. The carpenter who passed away recently suffered with various other issues and was prescribed medicines but he could not recover. Kanakaraju was suggested to get an echocardiogram done and he died when he was on his way to the diagnostic center. Some of them say that the government has not taken enough care of the victims. The postmortem of Kanakaraju is yet to come and it takes 30 days.
