TTD In Plans To Start Tirumala Darshan Soon:- With the coronavirus outbreak, all the temples across the country are shut. The famous Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala is shut from the past couple of months and the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board is in plans to re-open the temple soon. No darshans are allowed for public though the regular poojas are held in the temple. TTD is in plans to begin darshans for the devotees soon after the lockdown gets lifted. TTD already started working on this. A trial darshan will be conducted initially with few people very soon.

All the guidelines will be implemented for the devotees and the TTD is in plans to follow them strictly. The temple will be open for 14 hours in a day and only 500 people per hour will be allowed to offer prayers in the Tirumala temple. The TTD employees will be allowed for darshan for the first three days as a part of the trial. All the necessary arrangements are being made for this. Around 7000 people can visit the temple daily after the lockdown is lifted. Only online tickets will be allowed and the slots will be available as per the time and availability.

A special entrance is arranged at Alipiri for the same. The number of coronavirus cases in the state crossed 2000 and the lockdown is due for May 17th. The Centre is expected to make a statement about the lockdown soon.
