Narendra Modi Appreciates The Efforts Of Nurses During Coronavirus Time:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the efforts that are put by the nurses on the occasion of the International Nurse Day. He lauded their role in this crisis time saying that "They are doing great work towards defeating coronavirus". "International Day of the Nurse is a special day to express gratitude to the phenomenal nurses working round the clock to keep our planet healthy. Presently, they are doing great work towards defeating COVID-19. We are extremely grateful to the nurses and their families" posted Modi on his twitter handle.

Modi also said that they are inspired by Florence Nightingale and they are quite hardworking. He said that they are working real hard at this tough time when there is a huge shortage of medical staff in coronavirus outbreak. Every year, May 12th is celebrated as International Nurse Day which marks the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, a reformer and founder of modern nursing. This is celebrated to laud the efforts and the contribution of nurses to society across the world.
