Total Coronavirus Cases In India Cross 35,000 Mark:- The number of coronavirus cases across the country is growing and the total reached 35,043. The death toll stands at 1147. 1993 new cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours which is the sharpest jump in India till date. There are 25,007 active cases in the country and 8889 people got cured and discharged from the virus. Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said that the cases have been doubled in the past 11-20 days in Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Odisha and Punjab.
The doubling rate has been 20-40 days in states like Haryana, Ladakh, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Kerala. Three new deaths have been reported in Pune in the past 12 hours. The Union Health Ministry finalized the list of containment zones and divided all the districts in the country into the categories. Russian Prime Minister Mishustin was tested positive with coronavirus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him a speedy recovery. 50 million tablets of hydroxychloroquine have been imported to the USA for coronavirus fight.
Telangana has 6 red zones, 18 orange zones and 9 green zones. Andhra Pradesh has 5 red zones, 7 orange zones and 1 green zone as per the districts.
