Coronavirus Cases In Andhra Pradesh Reach 722:- Andhra Pradesh witnessed a huge rise in the number of coronavirus cases. 75 new cases are registered on Monday which clearly indicates that the situations are not under control. The total number of cases in the state reached 722 and 20 people passed away in the state. Chittoor got 25 new cases while Guntur registered 20, Kurnool got 16, Krishna had 5, Anantapur got 4, Kadapa registered 3 cases and East Godavari district got 2 cases. 3 new deaths are registered in Andhra Pradesh due to coronavirus.

Andhra Pradesh government made it clear that there would be no strict imposement of rules in the green zones starting from yesterday. Some of the districts are under complete lockdown. The government of Andhra Pradesh increased the number of tests after they acquired the rapid test kits. While Telangana imposed strict lockdown till May 7th, AP will continue to be under lockdown till May 3rd. There has been shortage in the doctors and health workers in the state and the government is in plans to recruit new employees during this crisis time. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy made it clear that there was no discrepancy in the procurement of rapid test kits and no scam took place.
