Indian Railways Cancels 168 Trains Across India:- With the coronavirus scare having a huge impact all over, Indian Railways witnessed low footfalls. The Indian Railways today canceled 168 trains across various zones in the country. The Indian Railways said that the passengers would get a complete refund for their trip and they would need to approach the booking counters for the refund. Indian Railways also clarified that there would be no cancellation charges. All these 168 trains will not operate from March 20th and 31st.
Indian Railways also said that further decisions about the trains will be taken as per the number of coronavirus cases in the country in the coming days.
Maharashtra continues to have the highest number of cases with 45 positive patients. The number of patients infected with coronavirus already increased in all the states yesterday. In the South Central Railway zone, 29 trains have been canceled in Telangana a couple of days ago. The airports, railway stations and bus stations across the country are left vacant because of the coronavirus scare.
