Nirbhaya's Mother Responds on the Hanging of Convicts:- The four convicts in Nirbhaya case have been sentenced to death but they have been trying new tactics to escape hanging. Though the hanging of the convicts has been announced to take place on February 1st, it was later postponed. Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi responded on the happenings. She said that the four convicts in 2012 gang-rape and murder case are continuing their tactics. Her parents asked the court to announce a fresh date of their hanging. The four filed pleas due to which their death execution got pushed.

The Delhi court asked the government to issue a fresh death warrant for the convicts. Nirbhaya's parents said that the convicts were testing the patience of the law. Asha Devi is confident of the government and the Delhi court issuing a fresh warrant. Additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana heard the plea and the hearing is kept for today. Advocates Jitender Jha and Seema Kushwala representing Asha Devi explained to the court about the tactics of the convicts.

All their mercy pleas are rejected by the President. The Delhi Court recently granted a week's time to avail all the legal remedies from Tihar Jail. The court also declared that all four convicts should be hanged at the same time as they are a part of the same crime.
