Nirbhaya Convicts Move To Court Once Again:- The Delhi Court made it clear that all the four convicts in the Nirbhaya case will be hanged on February 1st. The lawyer of the accused now moved to Patiala House court once again saying that the Tihar Jail authorities are making delay in filing the mercy petition. The plea that is filed by AP Singh will be heard on Saturday at the Patiala House Court. He said that the jail authorities are not releasing the documents to file the curative mercy petitions for Pawan and Akshay.

The mercy petitions of Vinay Kumar Sharma and Mukesh Singh are recently dismissed by the Delhi Court after which the necessary arrangements are made for hanging. Now AP Singh is in plans to file mercy petitions on behalf of the other two convicts so as to delay the hanging. The Centre recently moved to Supreme Court to fix a seven-day deadline for executing the death penalty of the prisoners. They also wished to file a mercy petition within seven days from the death of the death warrant issued by the court.
