Mukesh Ambani Case: IT Dept Seeks Details from Seven Countries:- The Income Tax Department of India sought the details about on-going investigation against the family members of Mukesh Ambani from seven countries. The investigation is on under the provisions of Black Money Act, 2015. The investigation is initiated about the undisclosed foreign income and assets. All the seven countries are located in USA, UK, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and St Lucia. The Income Tax department sent the queries last month about the Capital Investment Trust. The funds were used for the purpose of transferring the funds compromising global depository receipts.
