Telangana Municipal Elections on January 22nd:- The State Election Commission of Telangana issued a notification schedule about the elections for the urban local bodies (Municipalities and Municipal Corporations) which will be held on January 22nd. The delimitation of the wards and other formalities was completed a couple of days ago. The Election notification for 120 municipalities and 10 municipal corporations will take place on January 7th. The nominations filing will start on January 8th. The last date of submission of nominations will be January 10th.

The voting process will take place on January 22nd and the counting of the votes will take place on January 25th. V Nagi Reddy, the State Election Commissioner said that the wards delimitation process got completed and the draft photos will be published on December 30th. All the objections and suggestions will be received till January 2nd. The final rolls will be published on January 4th. The Election Commission will hold a meeting with all the political parties of Telangana on December 31st and January 1st.
