Hike in TSRTC Ticket Charges and Bus Passes:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) already announced that they are in plans to hike the ticket charges to compensate for the losses incurred due to the strike in the state. After showering the employees with various benefits yesterday, the government of Telangana announced about the ticket hike in the state. An official announcement has been made that 20 paise will be hiked per kilometer. The minimum charges in Palle Velugu and City buses will be Rs 10 and in express buses, the minimum fare is Rs 15. The minimum fare in deluxe buses will be Rs 20 and for super-luxury, it would be Rs 25.
For Rajadhani, Vajra, Garuda and Garuda Plus AC services, the minimum fare is said to be Rs 35. For Vennela Sleeper coaches, the minimum hike would be Rs 70. The new fares will be applicable from midnight today. The bus passes prices too have been revised and the Telangana government issued a press note with the new fares and the revised fares and they are hiked depending on the traveled kms. TSRTC employees joined back their services after 55 days strike and KCR promised that the corporation would earn profits soon.
