Uddhav Thackeray Wins Floor Test in Maharashtra Assembly:- After BJP failed to prove their strength, Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress formed an alliance. Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray took oath as the Chief Minister of the state on Thursday evening in between massive crowds in Shivaji Park, Mumbai. The government is expected to prove their strength in the state's Assembly today. The alliance won the floor test today in the house. Uddhav Thackeray for the first time addressed Vidhan Sabha after taking oath as the Chief Minister.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the Assembly session. He said that the house violated the rules as the house starts with Vande Mataram and ends with national anthem. 105 BJP MLAs were absent for the voting and 169 MLAs voted in favour of the alliance out of the strength of 288 members in the house. Uddhav Thackeray led Maha Vikas Aghadi government passed the floor test with flying colours.
