Senior Politician JC Diwakar Reddy Arrested:- Senior leader and TDP former MP JC Diwakar Reddy has been arrested by the Anantapur cops today. He was arrested in relation to a land dispute case in Venkatapuram village in Bukkaraya Samudram Mandal in the district. TDP and YSRCP have been fighting against the land and recently an activist from YSRCP laid fencing over the property after which tense situations prevailed. The entire village was left in tense mode after which JC Diwakar Reddy was arrested.

After coming to know about this, JC Diwakar Reddy rushed to Venkatapuram village and the cops arrested him citing a law and order disturbance if JC Diwakar Reddy is around. He was detained by the Anantapur cops before JC Diwakar Reddy entered the village. JC had an argument with the cops for not allowing him into the village. The cops clarified that the issue is pending in the court. Before this, revenue official conducted an investigation and gave a clean chit for the YSRCP activist after which he laid fencing across the property.
