Shine Hospital Issued Notices After Infant Dies in Fire:- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued a notice to the authorities of Shine Children's Hospital in LB Nagar after a fire broke in the premises and killed a four-month-old child. The incident also left five others injured. The Directorate of Enforcement, Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM) under the GHMC issued notices to Shine Hospital. They asked the hospital authorities to submit a copy of the plan sanctioned along with a copy of the building occupancy certificate. Along with these, they have been asked to submit the trade license and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Fire Department.

"You are hereby directed to furnish the above documents for verification within 3 days from the date of receipt of this notice, failing which action will be initiated in accordance with the rules and bye-laws framed under the GHMC Act 1955, read with AP Municipal Corporation Act 1994," said the notice. It is heard that there is no emergency fire exit staircase in the premises of Shine Hospitals. The fire accident took place in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in the fourth floor.
