YS Jagan to Launch Rythu Bharosa in Andhra Pradesh:- In a shocking move, YSRCP Government led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy decided to drop down the farm loan waiver scheme (Annadata Sukhubhava) that was implemented by Chandra Babu Naidu and TDP Government when they were in power. Special Chief Secretary (Agriculture) Poonam Malakondaiah issued an order about the same that the government decided not to waive loans of the farmers across Andhra Pradesh. Two installments out of the five wavers have been left pending as Model Code of Conduct came into place.

Now, YS Jagan and his government decided to drop down the loan waiver. Agriculture Minister K Kanna Babu said that TDP Government delayed two installments and they issued the GO before the election. He said that TDP failed to make financial provision to clear the loans in the Vote-On-Account budget. AP Government now announced to implement Rythu Bharosa scheme for farmers from October 15th.
