Cyclone Fani: Over 43 Trains Cancelled

Cyclone Fani: Over 43 Trains Cancelled:- Cyclone Fani is expected to shake the coastal region of West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The South Central Railway cancelled 43 trains that are scheduled to run between Howrah and Puri along with some south indian trains for the next two days. As per the update, heavy rainfall is expected in the coastal districts of AP, Odisha and West Bengal. The SER has cancelled 17 trains bound for south India and Puri. It has also decided to cancel 26 trains originating from south India.

All the states along with the coastal regions are kept on high alert and precautionary measures are taken to keep everyone safe. Relief trains and vans are kept across all the areas that will be affected by the massive cyclone. South Eastern Railway is also in touch with disaster management teams and local authorities. There will be no trains between Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar-Puri-Visakhapatnam section during the cyclone.
