Abhinandan Varthaman to Return Back to Work Soon:- Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's brave acts will be remembered for generations who created history by shooting down F-16 of Pakistan during a dogfight. Abhinandan Varthaman landed in Pakistan but soon was handed over to the country. The latest update is that Abhinandan Varthaman will return back to work soon but the final clearance will be given by Institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM) based in Bengaluru. The 35-year-old pilot will have to undergo a series of tests in the next few weeks.

Abhinandan Varthaman was present in New Delhi last week for a medical review in the Air Force Central Medical Establishment. He was brought here directly after getting released by Pakistan. He was diagnosed with spine and rib injuries. Abhinandan Varthaman recently returned to his Srinagar unit but was not asked to fly. He was on medical leave for a month in March and he recently returned back to work. He is assigned light ground duties as of now and once cleared, Abhinandan Varthaman will have a chance to fly again.
